Waiting for a time that never really existed in the first place...
For years I've photographed places that feel as though they're waiting for something to happen.
Empty roads. Temporary architecture. Building sites. Fog. Places between destinations.
The photographs aren't documentary and they're not quite fictional. They sit somewhere between memory and possibility.
The title comes from a feeling that never quite disappears—that life is often spent searching for something we can't properly name.
